League member Bill Yokobosky
died
unexpectedly in his sleep Wednesday morning. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
Yok, as he was known to most that knew him, was one of the most feared hitters in the league. Among his league credits are multiple MVP honors, 2010 Men's League Player of the Year and most recently Memorial Day 1-Pitch tournament MVP. His lifetime batting average and slugging % (642/1177) are among the league's best.
Yok was a good man - a true gentle giant who will be sorely missed. Yok... rest in peace.
His viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Joseph Fluehr Funeral Home in New Britain.
