Mother Nature decided to give the Tuesday Men's playoffs another shot. Here we go…

Game 1: Goodfellas (6) vs. McMenamin's Tavern (3)

In the top of the first GF plates five runs thanks to back to back doubles by Richie Beck and Rob Herold. In the bottom of the fifth MT scores three runs coutesy of a Freddie Scales double. In the bottom of the sixth MT pushes six runs across on six runs with the big blast coming from a homer by Ryan Parfitt. GF has trouble scoring the rest of the game as they get a run in the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh innings respectively. McMenamin's Tavern squeaks by the Goodfellas, 10-9.

Game 2: Mike's Bar and Grill (5) vs. NBI Muckdogs (1)

In the top of the first MBG gets a quick lead with three runs thanks to a triple by Keith Keppley. In the bottom of the first NBI gets two runs courtesy of a Frank Hackett homerun. This would become a trend. In the bottom of the third NBI gets one run when Frank Hackett blasts his second long ball. In the bottom of the fifth Joe Shenko hits a homer and Frank Hackett gets the trifecta by blasting a third ball into the trees. The onslaught continues when Brian Pencale gets into the act by sending another ball over the fence. This one is over early thanks to the mercy rule. The NBI Muckdogs beat down Mike's Bar and Grill, 18-3.

In the top of the first MT gets on the board with a homerun by Ryan Parfitt. In the bottom of the first BP takes the lead with five runs thanks to a Dave Steinbach double. In the bottom of the third three runs come across for BP when Dave Steinbach blasts another double. In the bottom of the fifth Mike Ambolino leads BP's four runs when he jacks a triple. MT's offense finally gets going again in the top of the seventh when they rally for seven runs by stringing together a handful of singles. Brighten Place holds off McMenamin's Tavern, 12-11.
