The game opener had New Age and LA Pool's battling it out to go to the next round of the playoff series..Did the sun shine down on the Pool gang, or did a tidal wave of runs advance New Age to game 2...New Age got it going with a 1 out walk-off homerun by Brian Hostetter...Pat Kennedy singled and Mitch Kulp doubled him home..New Age plate 2..Ditto runs for LA, as Mike Ciafici smokes a 2 RBI homer.Joan and Rich singles but both were left on base..New Age Gene Hylinski hits the big blast in the top of the 2nd smashing a 3RBI in the park HR..In the bottom of the inning, Christine Kerrigan and Sean Fischer singles but were left stranded..5-2 New Age after 2...A bunch of Punch and Judy hits in the 3rd and 4th inning on both sides of the dugout...The score was all tied at 8 after 4...In the top of the 5th, New Age came up one run short of doubling their score, plating 7 runs...6 singles were stroked by Eric, Irv, Leanie, Tara, Rich and Kelly and Mitch Kulp doubled...LA Pool's dropped like fly's 1, 2, 3...In the top of the 6th, New Age added 2 more to their score with singles by Tara, her 2nd of the game and one by Rich Peterson...LA Pool's tacked on another 4 runs but it was not enough as they ended up doing the dead man's float...18-12...New Age advances to round 2...

13 was a lucky # for Maple Glen Tavern as they easily knock off the BSOD team in the 2nd game of the playoff round...One run was plated by BSOD in the game and that came in the 2nd inning..Chris Roccoto Sr. got it started with a single, Linda Dart "E"d him to 2nd and Nelson gets the lone RBI, singling..Maple Glen's Mike Tareila had a big game going 4-4..Mike singled 2x's, doubled and tripled..Steve Hagan was 3-3 and Chris Hesdon 3-4...Maple Glen advances............13-1 was the final...

After beating LA Pool's in the opener, New Age faced Carroll's Jeweler's...Pitcher Eliot Ridgeway was once again brilliant on the mound, pitching a 7 hitter and holding New Age to just 2 runs...After giving up a homerun in the 1st which came off the stick of Brian Hoestter, Eliot got it together and only gave up another run in the 4th..New Age Pat Kennedy tripled and Mitch Kulp ribbied him home...That's all they wrote for New Age..Carroll's Jeweler's female eddies sparkled on the diamond..Christen Flaherty and Christine Razzi both went 3-3..Christen had 2RBI's and Christine, 3...CJ"s Matt Refice pounded out 2 singles and a double and Phil Purchase bought himself a 3, for 3 night...Carroll's wins a ticket to the grand finale!!...17-2...

The last game of the nite had the 1st place seed Bamberger Group up against the tough Maple Glen tavern squad..A very good matchup in this series..The game was decided by 2 runs..Maple Glen Tavern team will not head to the finals the first time in many seasons..Maple Glen never had the lead in this game but still hung tough..Down by 5 in the 6th, MGlen saw some life when Rob Johnson hit one out of the park..Bill D"Amico followed up with a single and Steve Hagan doubled him home..10-8 Bamberger Group after 6 inning's of play..In the top of the 7th, MGlen did not score and Bamberger Group faces Carroll's Jeweler's in the Big Show!...
