Game 1: Mike’s Bar and Grill (1-2) vs. McMenamin’s Tavern (2-1)

In the top of the first MBG gets one run thanks to a leadoff double by Tim Frank. In the bottom of the third MT takes the lead with four runs on six singles and a Kurt Keppley double. In the top of the fourth MBG answers back with seven runs on seven singles and doubles by Keith Keppley and Matt McReynolds. In the bottom of the fourth MT gets five runs on four singles and doubles by Freddy Scales and Ryan Parfitt. In the bottom of the fifth MT keeps scoring getting six runs on six singles and doubles by Steph Garrett and John Keifer. McMenamin’s Tavern tops Mike’s Bar and Grill, 20-13.

Not much happening in this game until PG breaks out in the top of the fifth for nine runs on two walks, four singles, doubles by Scott Masulis and Matt Schaub, and Chris Preacher. In the top of the sixth PG gets three runs on three singles and doubles by Scott Masulis and George Dart. In the top of the seventh PG get two insurance runs courtesy of a triple by Any Smallman. Progressive Graphics beat the Goodfellas, 14-5.

Game 3: NBI Muckdogs (1-1) vs. Dickey Moe’s (1-1)

In the top of the first NBI gets six runs on six singles and doubles by Franky Murray and Drew DiMino. In the top of the third NBI puts up four more runs on two singles, a Jeff Overberger double, and a triple by Drew DiMino. In the bottom of the third DM puts up two runs thanks to doubles by Dave Boice and Dave Michaels. In the top of the fourth NBI opens the game up getting eight runs on three walks, five singles, and triples by Joe Shenko and Jeff Overberger. In the bottom of the fourth a Dave Boice homer nets DM three runs. Not much action after that. The NBI Muckdogs beat Dickey Moe’s, 22-12.

In the top of the first HT gets one run on a double by Bill Yokobosky, but that would pretty much be all the offense they could muster on this night. In the bottom of the first BP busts out for eight runs thanks to a barrage of singles. In the bottom of the fourth BP uses small ball to get three more runs. In the bottom of the fifth BP ends it early thanks to a double by Jamal Covington. Brigten Place makes quick work of Hollywood Tans, 17-2.
