The ball field is just about tournament ready. The infield has been resurfaced. The Port-a-Potties are clean. The grass will get cut tomorrow and the rest of
the finishing touches will be put on early Sunday morning. The weather has been taken care of. Horseshoe pits are being installed at the very end of the
loser's lounge. We're good to go save for a few tournament warnings to those that plan on ingesting alcohol. I urge all to drink responsibly. For the
health and welfare of everyone, all ball players are prohibited from drinking alcohol while playing. Intoxicated individuals will not be allowed to take the
field. Any individual that becomes disorderly will be asked to leave the grounds immediately, if not sooner. Any individual asked to leave the grounds will be
permanently banned from any future 1-pitch outings.
The 1-pitch outings are a great time. Let's not let a handful ruin it for the rest of us. If you see someone over doing it, you need to step up to the plate and do something. If you find your efforts are futile, you need to bring it to my, or Andy's, attention.
