We have been duly warned. Without that ball field, the ability to schedule games for the number of teams we have becomes an impossibility. Those teams that play at Hatfield will be the first ones out of the league should we lose the privelege of playing there. Fore-warned is fore-armed.

Please remind your field managers to review the litter laws with all coaches and all players. The Township parks maintenance foreman reported a discouraging amount of trash in the School Road Park softball field dugouts when he made trash collection yesterday, making special mention of sports bottles and part-eaten soft pretzels. He assured me that the trash bins that serve each dugout where not filled to capacity. On my walk over yesterday, I noticed a few bottles still underneath the benches, and I see the dugout concrete flooring could use some broom sweeping, which I'll endeavor to get the Township crew to do. However, before I can push the Township crew to broom sweep, I think routine dugout maintenance begins with litter patrol after each game by use groups themselves.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
