Picture this...

Sunday morning men's, Cedar Hill, circa 2004 or 2005.

Batter (big guy, tall and broad) hits a line drive at the SS, who gloves it, then drops it. I give error.

After batter gets thrown out somewhere on the bases, he immediately comes over to me and peeks over my shoulder at the scoresheet.

Me: "Yes?"
Batter: "What did you give me on that?"

Just for the record. We all do our best in keeping score. It's not going to be perfect every time, when complaining about the chicken scratch or the bad handwriting or the sloppiness of the sheet.. please take into consideration that we have A LOT of managers that

1. put players in, then they don't show and we have to cross them out
