Manager Tim O'Shea has petitioned for, and been granted, the release of Sean Crawford from the all-star restricted list. Having enough at-bats to qualify last year and not being listed among the top 120 players in the men's or top 90 players in the coed league in 2008, Sean's release from the all-star restricted list is in line with league policy.

As per his request and before the start of the spring season, Joe Gross has been granted designated eddie (de) status for the spring, summer, and fall seasons of 2009.

Rob Welhaf has become a male eddie this year at the age of 49 because he applied for 'eddie at 52' exemption before the deadline of December 31, 2006.

Per his request and in accordance with league rules, Nelson Tobolsky has been delisted as a designated eddie (de) and reinstated as a regular male eddie (me) with the start of the 2009 spring season.
