I just got off the phone with Danielle at Gavin's and have secured the back room for the women's draft. This Sunday, July 27th, 7:30 pm. All are welcome to attend - draftees and league members alike. Even the guys of the league are welcome. All I ask is everyone in attendance show a healthy respect for the proceedings. I will be sending invitation emails to Brooke and all the draft...

OK for those that have read this and will read this.... I would personally like to thank Brooke Martin, for putting a women's team together to enter in this league. It needs to be understood that without her effort, we would not even have a reason to discuss this topic. So with that said, I think the 3 remaining managers are all in agreement to draft teams from the list of confirmed players onto their respective teams... That in my opinion would be the most fair way to form our teams....

If you did not.. then Yes. Sunday is good as long as you buy Beck, Kel and myself the first round of drinks..It's the least you could do after this headache of a league you have us in. LOL!!!!

Things are looking good. I need to get confirmation from Brooke Martin and her full team. Becky and Kelly are good to attend the formal player draft this Sunday, 7:30 pm at Gavin's Tavern. Opening Day is slated for Thursday, August 7th.

Are you OK for the draft this Sunday, Ms. Trinity?

Women's league player confirmations are coming in very slowly. If you know any of the unconfirmed ladies listed above, please see if you can help me by pushing them along. We are getting awfully close to Opening Day and I would hate to see this thing fall apart at the last minute.

With the Thursday Men's league moving right along (their 2/3 finals are set for July 31), the women's league could start as early as August 7th or maybe the 14th. We are looking at a draft date of somewhere around the 27th of July - only a couple of weeks away. Please make the necessary plans for this.

In the days ahead I will reach out to the draftees for confirmation and to see if I can gather some info on where they play and what their softball prowess might be. I will...

Simple solution... no need to dramatize it.... no need to get upset...or have "tempers flaring"

Managers: Ask three core ladies to be apart of your team, those ladies will give you a yes or no response... Go from there.
